Verse & Coffee began in a quiet moment of prayer, when a simple calling was placed on our hearts:
"Build something together as a family. Spread My Word."
At the time, we didn't fully understand what that meant — only that something new was being stirred in our lives.
Months later, during a mission trip to Costa Rica, that sense of direction became clearer. On a free day, we visited a coffee farm. We weren't looking for scale or business — we were looking for something real, something authentic, something that reflected God's design in creation.
In His timing, we were led to a small family-owned coffee farm connected to our own relatives — something we had not known before. What we found there was more than coffee. It was a place rooted in care and stewardship: no harmful chemicals, no shortcuts, and a deep respect for the land, animals, and natural environment.
It reflected a simple but powerful principle — stewardship over creation, purity in process, and honor in how the land is treated.
Walking through that farm carried a deep sense of peace and clarity. It felt confirming rather than coincidental.
And in that moment of stillness, we were reminded of the same calling that had been placed on our hearts months earlier:
"Build something with Me."
That moment became the foundation of Verse & Coffee — at the intersection of faith, family, and creation.
Today, Verse & Coffee exists to bring together two gifts we believe are given with purpose: Scripture and coffee. Our hope is to create space for intentional moments of peace, reflection, and gratitude in everyday life.
One verse. One sip. One morning with Him.
